Save the Dude

Save the Dude is an entertaining puzzle game where you try to free a man that looks just like Homer Simpson. In each level, you'll find poor Homer suspended in the air, tied up with a series of ropes that you'll have to cut carefully in order to prevent him from falling into the many traps that make up each level.

Gameplay in Save the Dude is pretty easy. To cut a rope, tap the button with an X on it. So it's easy to cut the ropes. But it's hard to decide which rope to cut and when. In the first few levels of Save the Dude, the scenario is super simple: all you have to do is snip a single rope to free Homer. But as you progress, you'll find Homer tied up with two ropes, one of which will cause him to swing into a platform full of spikes. In other levels, Homer might fall into the abyss or onto moving spikes. There are also moving ropes, floating platforms, ropes in other parts of the room, and other elements designed to increase difficulty.

At the end of a round of levels, you'll earn a prize, which might be a new skin for Homer or some protective element that gives you extra lives for more complicated levels.

Save the Dude is an entertaining game with surprisingly complicated puzzles where you have to take gravity and Homer's balance into account as you cut the ropes.
